Nottingham Green Festival

September 22, 2017

So with Sunday the 17th September 2017 almost apon us we thought it would be a good idea to take a look into the Nottingham Green Festival.

Held at the Arboretum on Waverley Street / Addison Street about one minute from the Nottingham High School Tram Stop and near Nottingham’s Old Market Square.

There is free live music with plenty of outdoor entertainment activities for both children and adults, plus lots of community stalls with plenty of delicious refreshments. There is also lots of ethical products and energy saving technologies with lots of interesting information on the Nottingham Green Festival.

It’s being organised by grass roots volunteers in the community and there is no actual regular statutory funding., There are one hundred stalls for small green businesses, campaigns, craft workers, artisan foods, and even vegan caterers. There are natural therapies, workshops, performers, and lots and lots of entertainment from the Marquee and the Busters Tunnel.

This is the 25th Annual Nottingham Green Festival. It’s a place for the whole family to explore, learn and get into their green side whilst in the peaceful surroundings of the Arboretum Park.
