This October Half Term Weekend, the Nottingham Castle will be hustling and bustling with lots of medieval themed people and events set over the 3 day Robin Hood Pageant.
During the day (Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th)
The grounds will be transformed into a medieval village all made more realistic with the addition of lots of colourful character to help you turn back time. Listen to and watch the various minstrels and historical entertainers on hand and even get involved with making our own medieval crafts or watch the falconry. Adults can get a drink from the al house offering a selection of heritage ales and meads (with some made from recipes dating back to 2000 BC).
Don’t forget to take a walk around the market stalls so you can sample some medieval delicacies, have ago at some archery, watch some combat demos or to enjoy the stunning jousting shows and horseback sword fighting.
During the night (Friday 28th & Saturday 29th)
Take a visit to the castle after dark and you’re in for a stroll around an illuminated medieval village with atmospheric torches, fire artists and jesters. All finished off with a spectacular joust finale, all floodlit and with a few surprises to boot.

Children under 2 years – FREE.
